Harry Rosenbaum

Harry Rosenbaum is Co-Founder and Principal of the Great Gulf Group of Companies (Great Gulf Residential, First Gulf Corporation, Ashton Woods USA, Home Technology and Tucker Hi-Rise Construction). Harry is an Independent Trustee of Northview Canadian High Yield Residential Fund (TSX: NHF.UN) and a Trustee of Starlight U.S. Multi-Family Fund. He is a past Board Member of WPT Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: WIR.UN). 

Harry is Chair of the Real Estate and Properties Committee of UJA of Greater Toronto and a Member of the Board of Directors of UJA of Greater Toronto. He is the Honourary Canadian Chair of Limmud FSU and was a director of the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation. Harry was Co-Chair of the Association for the Soldiers of Israel with his wife Malka for almost a decade. Harry also served as a board member on the Advocates for Civil Liberties. 

Together with his wife Malka, Harry supports many charitable initiatives and causes including: Tel Aviv University, United Jewish Appeal of Greater Toronto, Jewish Free Loan, JNF, Limmud FSU, Neshama Hospice, Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital and countless other causes. Harry and Malka are benefactors of the Toronto Holocaust Museum and several other organizations that preserve the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and combat Anti-Semitism.

Shael Rosenbaum

Shael Rosenbaum is a notable leader in Holocaust Education and Rememberance and a recognized Community Figure. He was instrumental in the Founding of the Toronto Holocaust Museum and was Chair of the Sarah and Chaim Neuberger Holocaust Education Centre. He served as a Council Member on the Shoah Foundation at the University of Southern California, Chair of the Young Adult March of the Living, a Board Member of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and as a Trustee of the Jewish Foundation. He was a Founding Member of the Next Venture Philanthropy Fund and was a member of The Israel and Overseas Committee, as well as the Governance and Nominations Committee at UJA Federation. He currently is National Chair of Yad Vashem and a Board Member on the Baycrest Hospital Foundation.

Shael is a past recipient of the Leadership Development Award from UJA Federation, is a graduate of the Joshua Institute and was the Master of Ceremonies at the “We Will Not Be Silent” March, the largest rally combating Anti-Semitism in Canadian History. He was Associate Producer of the critically acclaimed Documentary “The Accountant of Auschwitz”.

Shael is Managing Director of the Rosenbaum Family Office and President of Fremont Street Holdings Inc.
